Rugby is becoming more and more professional and if you don’t move with the times you will get left behind. We have all seen the programs with which the big unions analyse their games. Coaches have video footage and clips of team- and player- stats with which they can make informed decisions when dropping or coaching players. For players there is nowhere to hide and they can study their own strengths and weaknesses at their own time.
Non-professional sides however do not have the money or the time to sit with each player to look at his game. Most coaches have made the mind shift to get their games filmed, but they find that their video sessions sometimes takes up to much time as they have to make notes and then look for the place that they have marked.
